BYU releases new Regional Studies book

PROVO — The Brigham Young University Religious Studies Center has released a new volume, "Regional Studies in Latter-day Saint History: Ohio and Upper Canada."

Edited by Guy L. Dorius, Craig K. Manscill and Craig James Ostler, the volume continues the regional examination of the history The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The sixth in an ongoing series, this volume of Regional Studies contains seven essays dealing with various church history topics in Ohio and three on the early church in Ontario, Canada. Topics include the construction of the Kirtland Temple, missions to surrounding areas and the establishment of the Western Reserve.

The book is available for $19.95 at the BYU Bookstore, through the Religious Studies Center at BYU or visit online at religion.byu.edu/recent_publications.htm.
