CHECKETTS ON 'COLD PIZZA': Real Salt Lake owner David Checketts will be appearing on ESPN's nationally syndicated program "Cold Pizza" today at approximately 9:30 a.m. MST.
Checketts will be discussing the landmark front jersey sponsorship agreement reached last month between RSL and XanGo, the first agreement of its kind in all of sports in the United States. As part of the four-year, multimillion-dollar agreement, XanGo's logo will be adorned on the front of RSL's adidas/MLS game jerseys beginning in the 2007 season.

GRAND SLAM MOVING: The PGA Grand Slam of Golf is leaving one island for another.
The PGA of America said Wednesday the tournament is leaving Poipu Bay in Hawaii for the Mid Ocean Club in Bermuda, the first time in its 24-year history that it will be played outside the United States.

EAGLES FALL AT HOME: The Utah Eagles fell to 1-1 in CBA action following Tuesday's 112-103 home loss to the Butte Daredevils (2-0).
Rob Griffin led Utah with 29 points, while John Millsap added 22, Bryant Markson 16 and Mike Hall 12.
