• There are deleted scenes galore.

• Vintage TV excerpts, advertising and featurettes — lots of new stuff and, of course, everything that has been included in past editions.

And, as they say, much, much more.

Of course it goes without saying that the picture and sound are pristine.

The first two box sets of the "James Bond Ultimate Collection" arrive next Tuesday, and "Volumes 3 and 4" on Dec. 12, each at $89.98 retail (but a good $20 to $30 cheaper at most outlets).

Here's the lineup:

"Volume 1": "Goldfinger," "Diamonds Are Forever," "The Man With the Golden Gun," "The Living Daylights," "The World Is Not Enough."

"Volume 2": "Thunderball," "The Spy Who Loved Me," "A View to a Kill," "Die Another Day."

"Volume 3": "From Russia With Love, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service," "Live and Let Die," "For Your Eyes Only," "Goldeneye."

"Volume 4": "Dr. No," "You Only Live Twice," "Moonraker," "Octopussy," "Tomorrow Never Dies."

Do I already have all the Bond movies on DVD?

Well, yeah.

Will I be purchasing them all again?

Well, not all at once.

But ... yeah.

And so will a lot of other crazy movie collectors and Bondphiles out there.
