The Arthritis Foundation will hold its 2006 Arthritis Walk to raise funds and awareness to fight arthritis, the nation's leading cause of disability. The Salt Lake City Arthritis Walk will be Saturday, Oct. 7, at Wheeler Farm, 6351 S. 900 East, Murray.

To get involved or form a walk team, visit www.arthritis.org or call 801-536-0990.

In 2005, more than 75,000 walkers nationwide participated and helped raise money to directly support critical arthritis research, health education and government advocacy efforts to help people take greater control of arthritis.
