Activities will include a birds of prey exhibit from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring a bald eagle, great horned owl, red-tailed hawk and Swainson's hawk. There will be experts on site to talk about the birds.
The Wild Bird Center offers a range of viewing opportunities, including free outreach programs. Its program has won three national awards presented to center director Bill Fenimore.

FALL FAMILY FESTIVAL
The inaugural Fall Family Festival will take place on Oct. 7. The event will benefit the "Get to Know the Snow & Ice" Scholarship Fund founded by Anne Fortney and Joel Fine.
The event will be held at the Park City Ice Arena & Sports Complex from noon to 6 p.m.
The fund was started to give elementary school children the opportunity to participate in winter sports activities. The fund provides financial support as well as the use of proper clothing and equipment.
Featured activities include a chili cook-off, free public skating, sports demonstrations, games and activities for kids including a Real Salt Lake soccer "shooting cage."
The cost is $10 per car, $5 per person or $2 per bike.
Parents will also have the opportunity to sign up their children for winter activities through each of the 13 Youth WinterSports Alliance programs, including skelton, ski jumping, alpine racing, hockey, speed skating, figure skating, luge, freestyle skiing, aerials, snowboarding, nordic skiing and sled hockey.
