Golf tournament to aid orphans and families

SARATOGA SPRINGS — A Child's Hope Foundation, a nonprofit organization helping orphaned children and adoptive parents, announced the "Fore," a Child's Hope Charity Golf Tournament Oct. 13 at TalonsCove Golf Course, 2220 S. TalonsCove Drive.

The tournament, also sponsored by Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, will raise money to improve living conditions for orphans, aid families in adopting orphaned children from around the world and expand the foundation's Perpetual Adoption Fund.

The four-person scramble includes carts, 18 holes, lunch for golfers and a guest. Cost is $500 per foursome. Registration deadline is Oct. 6 while openings are available.
