Film screening Tuesday of 'Masses to Masses'
The Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W. 3100 South, will screen the film, "Masses to Masses: Art from Mao's China," Tuesday evening at 7. The 60 minute film details the history of the Cultural Revolution of China through the experience of artist Jin Zhilin. The documentary also covers China's "social realism" and the development of the artistic style "revolutionary romanticism." This event is offered in conjunction with the center's exhibit, "Ancient Threads, Newly Woven: Recent Art from China's Silk Road." The event is open to the public and free. For more information call 965-5100.
