Man jailed, charged in assault with nail gun
Documents filed in 3rd District Court state the two men had a verbal argument at a construction site near 4800 West and 7000 South last week. The man then grabbed a nail gun, unlocked the safety and shot the other man in the penis.
He is charged with second-degree felony aggravated assault and is being held in the Salt Lake County Jail on $25,000 bail. He was also wanted on an outstanding theft warrant.
