Utah Technology Council names 2 to Hall of Fame

Jim Kajiya and Dinesh Patel have been named as the 2006 Hall of Fame inductees by the Utah Technology Council for their accomplishments in the information technology and life sciences industries in Utah.

They will be honored at a black-tie event Oct. 27 at the Little America Hotel, 500 S. Main.

Kajiya's career includes stints at Quad Eight Electronics, Evans & Sutherland Computer Corp. and Microsoft Research.

Patel is managing director and founding partner of vSpring Capital. He is the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Ashni Naturaceuticals and has served as chairman and CEO of TheraTech, and CEO and cofounder of Salus Therapeutics.
