Outdoor notes

The program is intended to provide new opportunities for women to learn new skills, meet people with similar interests and obtain a greater appreciation of the outdoor world.

Events on June 23 will include a Birds of Prey presentation and a Dutch oven cook and social. Outdoor educational classes will be held on June 24.

CLASSES: animal tracking/calling, archery, ATV operation, big game hunting, canoeing, fly fishing, GPS operation, hand-gun basics, horseback riding, kayaking, outdoor photography, survival skills and upland game hunting, to mention a few.

Participants need to pre-register by Friday. Cost is $60.

The fee for those registering between June 10-16 is $70.
