JORDANELLE: Trout and bass fishing good. Most trout are below 25 feet. Try worm/marshmallow combination.

DEER CREEK: Fishing good. Fish caught are mostly rainbows but a few walleyes are beginning to show up.

UTAH LAKE: Success reports vary from poor to extremely good. Several reports of large crappie and blue gill being caught in shallow water by using a bobber with a worm underneath or by using baited jigs. Several large channel catfish are being caught throughout the by using stink baits, night crawler or shrimp.

BURRASTON PONDS: Fair to good for recently stocked trout.

PAYSON LAKES: All lakes are now accessible and anglers are having fair to good success.

WILLOW POND: Fair success for recently planted trout and catfish.

CURRANT CREEK: New reports indicate excellent fishing with reasonably good access all the way around the lake.

FLAMING GORGE: Good fishing for rainbows and lake trout on the majority of the reservoir. If boat fishing, try long-lining plugs on monofilament line; trolling bottom structure using down riggers or steel line and flatfish, crank baits or flashers trailing a small lure or minnow for large lake trout. Water in the reservoir has not stratified in temperature, and trout can be found at all depths including very shallow, although surface temperatures are starting to warm which will drive fish deeper in a couple weeks. Vertical jigging using tube or bucktail jigs tipped with sucker meat can also be effective for lake trout when they are on the bottom.

PELICAN LAKE: The water is warming and anglers report excellent fishing for bass and bluegill.

RED FLEET: Good fishing for rainbows and browns. Bass are also beginning to bite. Good time to fish for big browns

STARVATION: Good fishing for larger browns, rainbows, walleye and bass. Catch rates for the warm water fish, bass, walleye and yellow perch should continue to improve as water warms.

CLEVELAND: PowerBait or worms produced fair fishing success.

ELECTRIC LAKE: Fishing was good over the long weekend for anglers using almost any bait or lure.

JOE'S VALLEY: Fishing success ranges from poor to good, depending on the day, time of day, weather conditions and angler expertise during the holiday weekend.
