Extras: Full frame, optional English subtitles, chapters; "Commercial" only: bonus skits; "Oteri" disc only: audition, dress rehearsal, photo gallery, audio commentary.

"The Chipmunk Adventure" (Paramount, 1987, G, $14.99). This animated feature about the Chipmunks — Alvin, Simon and Theodore — is like listening to a speeded-up recording for 80 minutes, only it's more boring. The plot has them in a hot-air balloon for a race around the world. Might be a nice sleep aid for toddlers, however.

Extras: Full frame, art gallery, optional English subtitles, chapters.

"The Fairly OddParents! Fairy Idol" (Nick/Paramount, 2006, not rated, $14.99). Episodes from this amusing cable-TV cartoon show are "Truth or Cosmoquences," "Timmy TV," "Super Humor," "Scout's Honor" and "The Really Bad Day!"

Extras: Full frame, five episodes, optional English subtitles, chapters.
