$750,000 to fully integrate all state agencies and to create an emergency backup server in Richfield in case of some disaster that would knock out the server in Salt Lake City.
Between $3 million to $5 million to finish up Web services and set up full connections to the UCJIS system.
$250,000 to fill in gaps in remote areas of Utah where the wireless data network does not currently reach.
$950,000 for software, laptops and data storage to ensure all UHP troopers have updated laptops in all vehicles.
Sadler said state workers are still working to expand UCJIS, currently trying to get most police departments in Utah to contribute their data and to access notification by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security of incidents.
Committee co-chair, Rep. Chris Buttars, R-West Jordan, asked officials to come back in October to determine how much will be covered by federal homeland security grants, and how much the state will have to foot.
