UTC meeting to feature keynote by governor

The Utah Technology Council, an organization of the merged Utah Information Technology Association and the Utah Life Sciences Association, will have its annual members meeting from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 6 at the Marriott City Center, 220 S. State.

Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. will discuss "Technology's Pivotal Role in Utah's Future."

The event also will feature UTC honoring its 2006 Executives of the Year in the chief executive officer, chief technology officer, "emerging executive," trustee and legislator categories.

The cost is $25 for members, $50 for nonmembers. Registration can be completed online at www.uita. org/events/040606.htm or by calling 801-568-3500.
