Classmates applaud, above, as Jacob Cram, 17, is named king of Riverton High School's junior prom Saturday. At right, he dances with Caitlyn Ellis, 17, at the prom, held at the Wells Fargo Building in downtown Salt Lake City. Cram, who was born with a congenital heart defect, was not expected to survive elementary school, much less make it to high school.
