3 scenic drives to gain U.S. funds for projects
A total of $690,687 in federal grants has been designated for Utah projects. Nationwide, 207 projects in 42 states will be granted more than $22 million.
Utah's projects are:
• Cottonwood Canyons corridor management and interpretive plans — $240,000.
• Dead Horse Point Mesa Scenic Byway and Potash-Lower Colorado River Scenic Byway development, exhibit design and construction — $32,000.
• Nebo Loop National Scenic Byway non-motorized trail project — $418,687.
