• 7:20 p.m. — "The Return," directed by Michael Amundsen. Elder Rowe McDonald is a self-propelled achiever. He anticipates the perfect life and will do what it takes to get it. With his wedding just four weeks away he looks forward to starting a family and embarking on a promising career. As he returns from his mission, the cab ride home is halted by a horrific collision. This is considered by organizers to be one of the great highlight films of the LDS Film Festival.

• 9:45 p.m. — "Powerless," directed by Matt Daniels. This festival entry is from the United Kingdom. When Sarah witnessed the murder of her father, her life was shattered. Moving far away from the city was the only thing that seemed to make sense. When the power fails and a chilling radio broadcast reveals that terrorists have brought Britain to its knees, the family find themselves vulnerable, afraid to leave home. Made for less than $10,000, the film has been critically acclaimed.
