Schedule for Orem's LDS Film Fest

• 2 p.m. — Rich Fassio, founder of Seattle based Modern Digital, will talk about the growing demand for 2K digital intermediate processing for film and HD projects.

• 3 p.m. — Brad Plowman and Amber Hawkins of FUEL Marketing, a Salt lake City-based advertising firm specializing in marketing the entertainment and filmmaking industry. The seminar will focus on establishing marketing budgets, creating effective public relations strategies and developing an advertising plan.

• 4 p.m. — Special showing: "American Mormon." Daryn Tufts ("The Singles Ward") tours the country documenting the hilarious misconceptions people have about Latter-day Saints. This collection of man-on-the-street interviews helps answer the question: What in the world do people think of us?

• 5:30 p.m. — "Believe," (not rated, probably PG), directed by Loki Mulholland. The film follows Adam Pendon, a struggling laid-off steel mill worker who unwittingly rises to fame and fortune. Features Larry Bagby of "Walk the Line," and Britani Bateman of "Mobsters and Mormons."

• 7:30 p.m. - "Everything You Want," directed by Ryan Little ("Saints and Soldiers"). Abby is an art student whose work helps her escape her parents' eccentricities and life's challenges. Her longtime friend, the perfect and delectable Sy, has been her strength since childhood. When Abby meets her roommate's cousin she faces a choice. Features Shiri Appleby and Nick Zano. Shown on ABC Family Cable and will be distributed this spring direct to Disney DVD.

• 9:45 p.m. — "Propensity," directed by Rob Diamond. "Propensity," is a supernatural drama that deals with the silent epidemic of suicide in a unique attempt to explore this sensitive and often misunderstood subject. It follows three men and their ghostly wanderings somewhere between heaven and earth in an attempt to right the wrongs in their lives. A battle ensues between good and evil. Cameo appearance by Heather Beers ("Charly").

Saturday, Jan. 21

• 10 a.m. — LDS film forum/panel discussion, moderated by BYU professor Gideon Burton; Kirby Heyborne will conduct a two-hour actor's workshop ($10).

• 12:30 p.m. - Screenwriters workshop: Matt Whittaker ("Saints and Soldiers," "The Work and The Glory"); John Moyer ("The Singles Ward," "Mobsters and Mormons").

• 1 p.m. — Dave Hunter of Halestorm Entertainment will talk about the new Stone Five Studios in Provo; Kirby Heyborne will offer a second two-hour actors' workshop.
