PROVO — Oaths of office will be administered Tuesday to Mayor Lewis Billings and three City Council members elected in November.

The public ceremony is scheduled for noon at city hall, 351 W. Center. A free reception will be held afterward to honor the new officials and outgoing council members Paul Warner and Dave Knecht.

Provo voters re-elected Billings and councilwoman Cindy Richards to third terms. Former Mayor George Stewart and Cindy Clark will be sworn in as council members for the first time.

Brigham Young University communications professor Robert Walz will conduct the ceremony, which will feature music by the Utah Freedom Band and Miss Provo, Corrine Foster.

Erika Bestor will sing the national anthem and the Provo Police and Fire Department Color Guard will present the colors.

The event will be broadcast on Provo cable channel 17 and iProvo channel 1.
