Utah Valley State College plays its second straight road game today at 2 p.m. against Boise State in Taco Bell Arena. The game can be heard live on 1400AM.

This is the third meeting between the two schools. Last year, Utah Valley beat Boise State 74-55 in Orem. It lost 80-68 in Boise the year before. This year, Boise State is 4-3 and coming off a 70-61 win over Sacramento State.

"Boise State has a veteran backcourt," Utah Valley State coach Dick Hunsaker said. "They love the up-tempo game. Their speed and quickness will be a real challenge for us."

Coby Karl leads Boise State in scoring and rebounding. He is averaging 14.6 points and 5.9 rebounds a game. Marr Bauscher is second in scoring at 13.1, while Eric Lane is netting 10.4 points a game.

The Broncos are 4-3 and have yet to win two straight games this season. Their four wins are against Montana, Montana State-Northern, Sacramento State and Weber State.

Utah Valley State is coming off its biggest win in school history, against Arizona State in Tempe, 75-71, last Saturday. Ben Devoe led the Wolverines with 21 points on 10 of 13 shooting. Sylvester Allison had 14 points and hit two key 3-pointers in the Wolverines' rally.
