Salt Lake-based Cogito Inc. announced Monday the availability of a graph database and data analysis solution that allows organizations to quickly query and view massive amounts of data and associated relationships, designed to improve data analysis, situation intelligence and process understanding.

At its core, a graph database stores information as graphical nodes and their respective relationships as arcs, letting users overcome the challenges of recursive queries, long wait times and complicated programming required to analyze data with more traditional database technology.
