Chris Cannon to speak at UVSC about ethics

OREM — Third Congressional District Rep. Chris Cannon, R-Utah, will speak Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. in Room 243 of the Losee Center at Utah Valley State College.

Cannon's speech will focus on ethics in government. He will take questions from the audience after his remarks.

Cannon was re-elected for a fifth term in 2004. He serves on the Government Reform, Judiciary and Resources committees.

Along with his committee work, Cannon is a member of the Steel Caucus and chairman of the Western Caucus, a group of 55 House members. In 1998, Cannon served on the House Committee to impeach President Clinton.

The public is invited.
