Latino Latter-day Saints and their Spanish-speaking friends and neighbors will gather for a devotional on Sunday, Sept. 18, at 7:30 p.m. in the Conference Center in Salt Lake City to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the restoration of the church and the 200th anniversary of the birth of Joseph Smith.

Representatives of the church's general authorities will be among speakers. A 365-voice youth choir will provide music. The program will also review growth of the church in Latin American countries.

Although the devotional is primarily for Spanish-speaking church members, their families, friends and neighbors, it is open to all. Tickets, which will be available beginning today at 10 a.m., will be required but are free. They will be available online at www.lds.org/events or by calling the Conference Center ticket office, 801-240-0080 (toll-free at 1-866-537-8457.)

They also can be obtained in person at the ticket office, located at Door 4 of the center, beginning today. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
