Meyers is looking forward to appearing with the Utah Symphony but admits she's had some interesting experiences performing at outdoor venues. "You never know what will happen. I've had bees zooming around my head. Once, a fire alarm went off, and they were getting ready to evacuate everyone."

At Friday's concert, Lockhart and the orchestra will also play Copland's "Outdoor Overture" and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 in F minor.
