BYU names new official for human resources

PROVO — Forrest Flake has been named the new assistant administrative vice president for human resource services at Brigham Young University. Flake replaces R. Blair Condie, who has been called as a mission president for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Flake received a B.A. degree in organizational communications from BYU and an M.S. degree in human resource management from the University of Utah. At BYU he has worked in employment services, employee relations and most recently as managing director of compensation and benefits.

He is certified as a senior professional of human resources in the Society of Human Resource Management and is a certified compensation professional in the professional association World at Work.
