Hall voting baffles Dantley
Ex-Jazzman wondering when his turn will come

Nor does beating himself up now after what happened then.
"I knew the franchise was going to be good," Dantley said. "Once I played with Karl (Malone) and Stockton, I knew the franchise was heading in the right direction.
"Had I not held out for a contract that year," he added, "I probably would have been in Utah. It's unfortunate that happened."
Fate that cannot be reversed.
There still is time, though, for the decision on hanging his number to take a turn.
Ditto for a call from the Hall.
"Hopefully," Dantley said. "One day."
