Collectible presidents
Move over, Luke Skywalker and G.I. Joe. Make way for George Washington and George Bush.
Presidential memorabilia has long been popular with collectors, but among the latest products to enter the arena are "talking" presidential action figures, first introduced by Toypresidents Inc. in 2002, with figures of presidents George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Abraham Lincoln and Teddy Roosevelt.
This year six new presidents will be added to the line: Jimmy Carter, Richard Nixon, George H.W. Bush, Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and Franklin D. Roosevelt. In addition, because the first edition of Reagan has already sold out, a second edition will be added.
