As just a Jazz fan and not an athlete or coach, in my opinion most of the Jazz's problems is caused by Jerry Sloan. He is not a forward-looking, progressive, positive attitude coach. He wants players to play as he still sees himself in his own mind, a fast and furious player, never quitting for a moment. However, he does not see that teams that shoot the three point play always kill the Jazz. The opposing team does not have to "spread out" to try and cover the Jazz's three point play because we hardly ever use it. The opposing team knows that Jerry Sloan will always have his team try and work it into the basket for the "sure" shot. It is a lot easier to guard a team that does not make you spread out your defense. You never hear him praise the team and pat them on the back for a good effort even if they were beaten by a better team. He always blames the team for a lack of effort instead of blaming himself for "old fashioned" coaching.

Where's Boozer we paid for?

Can we get the Boozer we paid for? The one who would get 15 points and 10 rebounds last year with no plays ran for him? The one that played with heart and passion every night? The one that was in the top ten in rebounds? The man I saw last year and the one playing this year are two different people. Where have you gone Carlos Boozer?

Jazz overly dominated by Sloan

Story continues below
Last season the Jazz. who were alleged to be without talent, played with enthusiastic wild abandon. They were fun to watch and it is suspected the players were having fun. This year strange things continue to happen. Arroyo is benched because "he isn't playing well" but traded because, "he is the most marketable." Does anyone really believe Carlos can't play well? Players who are hot and shooting the lights out are benched and sit out for much of the game. At the risk of being blasphemous could it be that the Jazz are overly dominated by the coach?

Jazz lack killer instinct

I really do not think the Jazz players are bad players or Jerry Sloan is a bad coach. They have the ability to win nearly every game which the Jazz have shown by beating some of the NBA's elite this year. The Jazz just have NO HEART!!! They lack that killer instinct to finish games that they used to have. Where is the rough attitude? The Jazz could use a Rodman or an Artest because at least those guys bring attitude and determination.

Huge mistake to let Ostertag go

Hi, I am one of the biggest Jazz fans, I have been watching them for 15 years. I have the NBA package and I never miss a game, I plan my social life around the Jazz, sad, but I really love watching them play win or lose.
