Homecoming for squadron
The group arrived by commercial airliner Sunday, with family members welcoming them back. The squadron, dubbed the Angry Warriors, provided ground-based air control to coalition aircraft flying over Iraq, according to Hill Air Force Base.
There were no problems in the homecoming, Staff Sgt. Nakita Carlisle said Monday.
They also relayed command and control information between coalition planes and the Combined Air and Space Operations Center, which is headquartered at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev.
