• Second-degree felony (amount exceeding $5,000) misuse of public monies. Carries a possible penalty of 1-15 years in prison and fines up to $5,000.

• Third-degree felony (amount below $5,000) misuse of public monies. Carries a possible penalty of 0-5 years in prison and fines up to $5,000.

• Salt Lake County District Attorney David Yocom opted not to charge Workman with a possible misdemeanor violation of giving Health Department employees illegal payments.
