Walker submits list of names to Senate for confirmation

Gov. Olene S. Walker has submitted the following names for appointments to the following boards and commissions to the Utah State Senate for confirmation:

District Court Judge: John R. Morris

Board of Substance Abuse and Mental Health: Michael J. Crookston, independent; Joleen G. Meredith, Democrat; Nora Thurgood Stephens, Republican.

School and Institutional Trust Lands Board of Trustees: John Y. Ferry

Board of Child and Family Services: David Lewis Corwin, independent; Sheila Deputy, Republican; Barbara Ann Feaster, independent; Bridgette Borsch, independent; Paulette Gareen, Republican; Alan N. Garfield, Republican.

Real Estate Commission: Blaine Walker, Bonnie Peretti.

State Board of Regents: Katharine Bagley Garff, Republican; Trenton R. Kemp, student regent.

Radiation Control Board: Kent Bradford, independent; Stephen T. Nelson, non-partisan; Gregory G. Oman, Republican; Robert S. Pattison, non-partisan; Dan L. Perry, Republican; Joseph Miner, Republican.

Real Estate Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board: Craig Morley, Lynn Christensen, Holly Christensen.

Utah Valley State College Board of Trustees: Janette Hales Beckham.

Youth Parole Authority: Jeff Norton, Alvin Emery, Gary Mackelprang.
