'Napoleon' is a dud

I thought I had finally found a movie the whole family could enjoy. I had read from BYU Magazine (spring 2004) that "Napoleon Dynamite" was "genuine, sincere, hilarious — and it was clean, too." I thought we couldn't miss.

But I found "Napoleon" to be a dud. I was very embarrassed to have my three sons witness flier ads for bust enhancement in the movie — not once, but three or four times.

My 11-year-old thought the movie was funny "except for the bad stuff." My 16-year-old and I found it stupid and annoying. No wonder Jared Hess, the writer and director, "about dropped the phone" when he heard that Sundance had accepted the film for its festival.
