In response to Matthew Erickson's dismay with the three-letter "expletive" used by Ken Jennings on the Letterman show (Readers' Forum, Sunday, Aug. 1): I do not think he "jeopardized" the image of the state any more than Erickson jeopardized the image of his so-called "home team" with silly comments. Members of the LDS faith are everyday people. Most of them are on the "away team," outside of Utah. Wake up, Mr. Erickson. We are not alone. We may be a "peculiar people," but in no way are we perfect.
