Provo: July 2, 3, 5, 6:30-8:30 a.m. balloon fest 1100 North Freedom Blvd., noon - 10 p.m. Festival Days; July 2, 5:30 - 10 p.m. charity auction at the Awards Gala; 6:30 p.m. Freedom Awards Gala; July 3, 6:45 a.m. 5K; 7 a.m. 10K; 7:15 a.m. 1 Mile Fun Run; 9 a.m. parade from 960 N. University to 900 E. Center; 7:30 p.m. Stadium of Fire entertainment and fireworks at BYU LaVell Edwards Stadium; July 4, 7 p.m., Patriotic Service at BYU Marriott Center.

Wasatch County

Midway: July 5, 7 a.m. sunrise service at Midway Town Square, followed by breakfast, flag ceremony, patriotic program with Elder Russel M. Nelson of the Quorum of Twelve, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; 10 p.m. fireworks.

Weber County

Huntsville: July 3, 6 a.m. wake-up call; 7 a.m. mini-marathon and breakfast in the park; 8 a.m. flag-raising; 10 a.m. F-16 fly-over, parade; 11 a.m. climbing wall, patriotic program, festival begins in park; 2 p.m. 3-on-3 basketball; 4 p.m. volleyball tournament; 6:30 p.m. Melodrama; 8 p.m. concert and dance in park; 10 p.m. fireworks.

Marriott-Slaterville: July 2, golf tournament, July 3, 6 p.m., dinner at Slaterville Park, coed softball tournament; July 5, 7 a.m. 5K/1K walk/run; 11 a.m. parade; festival at noon.

North Ogden: July 3, 7 a.m. North Ogden Kiwanis breakfast at North Ogden Park; 5K fun run/walk at North Ogden City Offices; 9:30 a.m. children's parade from 2600 N. Washington Blvd. to 2300 N.; 10 a.m. Cherry Days parade from 2850 N. Washington Blvd. to 1900 N.; 11 a.m. activities in the park, softball, volleyball; 11:30 a.m. flag-raising; noon, entertainment; 1 p.m. softball; 2 p.m. baseball game, 8 p.m. performance by "Distant Thunder" at Weber High football stadium; 10 p.m. fireworks.

Ogden: July 2-4, Hot Rocking 4th and Freedom Rally at the Weber county fair grounds; July 2, 4 p.m. kick-off party and bike show, Rock concert starring Blue Oyster Culp at the Ogden City Amphitheater; July 3, 10 a.m. Harley Davidson parade on Washington Blvd., 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., entertainment including a Kid Zone, Great American Freedom Trail, HR Invitational Car Show, Mud Bogs, Snowmobile Grass Drags, Monster Truck Rides, Monster Truck Exhibition; 7 p.m. concert with artist Diamond Rio followed by fireworks; July 4, 4 p.m., bike rodeo; 8 p.m. patriotic concert followed by fireworks.

Washington County

La Verkin: July 3, 8:30 a.m. patriotic program at the city offices; 9 a.m. parade; 9:30 a.m. festivities at the elementary baseball park.
