West Valley City: July 2, 7 p.m. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Utah Symphony at the USANA Amphitheater, fireworks at dusk.

Moroni: July 3, 7 a.m. flag ceremony, Fireman's Breakfast in City park, fun run; 9:45 a.m. airplane will drop 800 ping-pong balls, each with small prize; 10 a.m. parade followed by carnival at ball park; 1 p.m. family fun trap shoot, city arena west of town; 5 p.m. turkey barbecue dinner at the activity center; 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. pre-fireworks show; 8 p.m. Moroni Idol singing contest with karaoke performances; 10 p.m. fireworks.
