Salt Lake man is charged in shooting incident

A Salt Lake man has been charged with third-degree aggravated assault, accused of shooting at his daughter's boyfriend with a semiautomatic gun.

The 38-year-old man pulled out the gun after an argument with the daughter's boyfriend, shooting at him several times before the victim was able to flee, the charges state.

A warrant has been served for the man's arrest.
