As is "Angel."
The episode also sets up the rest of the season, which is actually playing out like one of the first few seasons of "Buffy" individual stories that build toward some sort of a climax. Exactly what that climax will be, of course, no one is saying. Except that the recently returned Lindsey (Christian Kane) and Eve (Sarah Thompson), who is the liaison to Wolfram and Hart's senior partners will be a big part of it.
"But what side Lindsey ultimately comes down on is never clear," Whedon said. "That's kind of what makes Lindsey interesting.
"And we will start to get more specific about why it is (Angel and Co. are at Wolfram and Hart) and the inevitable effect that the big, evil corporation will have on them, which is to start getting between them and getting inside them. . . . We have some things coming up that are just as bizarre as anything we've done. It's a good feeling."
"You're going to see some episodes where we go boldly where we've never gone before," Bell said.
In the meantime, "Angel" fans absolutely do not want to miss tonight's episode.
