TIMELINE — Paul Walker heads up the cast of this science-fiction adventure, based on Michael Crichton's best-seller about archaeology students who journey back to 14th-century France.

HIGHWAYMEN — This long-delayed revenge thriller stars Jim Caviezel as a man who heads out on the road as he tries to hunt down a serial killer — the man who murdered his wife.

HONEY — Jessica Alba stars as the title character of this drama, about a dance choreographer who struggles to rebuild her life and career after being blacklisted from the music video industry. Mekhi Pfifer co-stars.

IM JULI (IN JULY) — This German romantic comedy follows a teaching student who finds love when he decides to stay home to study during his summer break. In German, Turkish, Bulgarian and Serbo-Croatian, with English subtitles.

THE LAST SAMURAI — This action film stars Tom Cruise as a Civil War veteran who is trained in the way of the Samurai in Japan. In English and Japanese, with English subtitles.

PARTY MONSTER —
Macaulay Culkin stars as infamous "club kid" Michael Alig, who was accused of murdering his drug dealer. A dark comedy also starring Seth Green. A selection of the 2003 Sundance Film Festival.

PRIDE & PREJUDICE: A LATTER-DAY COMEDY — Local filmmaker Andrew Black contemporizes Jane Austen's much-filmed tale with this comedy, which stars Kam Heskin as Austen's heroine Elizabeth Bennet.

LOVE DON'T CO$T A THING — This urbanized remake of 1987's "Can't Buy Me Love" stars Nick Cannon as a high school loser who pays a cheerleader to pose as his girlfriend so he can become popular.

SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE — Nancy Meyers' latest romantic comedy stars Diane Keaton as a woman with two suitors — her daughter's much older boyfriend (Jack Nicholson) and a doctor (Keanu Reeves).

STUCK ON YOU — The newest Farrelly brothers comedy stars Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear as conjoined twins who begin feuding when one of them wants to head to Hollywood to become an actor. Eva Mendes co-stars.

DEC. 17

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RETURN OF THE KING — The finale of director Peter Jackson's J.R.R. Tolkein three-film adaptation finds Frodo (Elijah Wood) and the rest of the Fellowship of the Ring locked in mortal battle as they defend Middle Earth from the forces of Sauron.
