Red Fox Lodging (877-293-3224) also has cabins with fully equipped kitchenettes. Rates are $75 per night for a cabin that sleeps four. Very limited availability between now and the end of June.

Cantril: This small Mennonite community, population 250, is home of the Dutchman's Store, a general mercantile that's a popular with tourists as it is with locals. A good place to look for quilting supplies and fabric. It's on the itinerary of many tour buses. On your way there, look for the Wickfield Farm Sales Pavilion, a round-barn structure built in 1918. It will be open to the public Memorial Day weekend and the weekend of June 22. Admission is by donation. The first square dance of the season will be the evening of June 22. It's within sight of the highway east of Cantril.
