Second-graders from Lomond View Elementary School in Pleasant View and David States, an engineer for ATK Space Systems, watch as ATK Launch Systems and NASA test fire an FSM-15 space shuttle reusable solid rocket motor in Promontory Thursday. The world's largest solid rocket motor measures more than 126 feet long and 12 feet in diameter. Data will be used to ensure the safety of NASA's remaining shuttle flights.
