• N.Y. Giants LB Bryan Kehl (Brighton HS/BYU) played, but had another stat-less day while dealing with a toe injury.

• Pittsburgh DL Brett Keisel (BYU) dominated in win over the Chargers with seven tackles, a sack, a quarterback hurry and a pass deflection.

• Pittsburgh OL Chris Kemoeatu (Utah) started and helped the Steelers rush for 124 yards in win over the Chargers.

• Carolina DE Ma'ake Kemoeatu (Utah) had five total tackles in solid effort in win over the Lions.

• Dallas OL Pat McQuistan (Weber State) played sparingly in win over the Redskins.

• Baltimore DL Haloti Ngata (Highland HS) had seven total tackles and a quarterback hurry, but his team's run defense was scorched in loss to the Giants.

• Tampa Bay OL Donald Penn (Utah State) shut down elite pass rusher Jared Allen in win over the Vikings.

• Green Bay LB Brady Poppinga (BYU) started and had one tackle in win over the Bears.

• N.Y. Jets DL Sione Pouha (East HS/Utah) had three total tackles, a half sack and a quarterback hurry in win over the Patriots.

• Kansas City WR Kevin Robinson (Utah State) returned two punts for 19 yards in loss to the Saints.

• Carolina WR Steve Smith (Utah) caught six passes for 59 yards, had a 16-yard rush and lost a fumble in win over the Lions.

• Miami DT Paul Soliai (Utah) played, but recorded no stats in win over the Raiders.

• Minnesota FB Naufahu Tahi (Granger HS/BYU) started, but recorded no stats in loss to the Buccaneers.

• Chicago OL John Tait (BYU) struggled, along with the rest of his offense, in a losing effort against the Packers.

• Oakland WR Todd Watkins (BYU) played, but recorded no stats in loss to the Dolphins.

• San Diego DB Eric Weddle (Utah) had 11 total tackles in loss to the Steelers.

• The following players were declared inactive by their respective teams: Miami QB John Beck (BYU); San Francisco QB Jamie Martin (Weber State); Miami OL Shawn Murphy (Lone Peak HS/Utah State); N.Y. Jets QB Brett Ratliff (Utah); San Francisco OL Barry Sims (Park City HS/Utah); Cleveland OL Scott Young (Hillcrest HS/BYU).

• The following players were released by their respective teams: Oakland TE John Madsen (Hunter HS/Utah); San Diego LB Derek Smith (American Fork HS).
