MormonTimes.com: 30 million diverse records added to FamilySearch

FamilySearch continued its unending expansion by adding 30 million more family-history records to its free Record Search Pilot Web site.

Some of the records added were indexed records that are easily searchable by keywords. Other records added are just the digital images of original records — viewable, but not yet computer indexed.

The type of records FamilySearch added range from United States census records to Spanish church records from 1530.
