High school football playoff updates all evening long

TIMPVIEW 49, WEST 7: Casey Rumsey was 14-for-23 passing with 198 yards and two touchdowns. The T-Birds also had 185 total rushing yards, led by Levi Te'o's 78 yards and three TDs.

SKY VIEW 48, EAST 16: The Bobcats were led by quaterback Kyler Carlsen in the route over East. Carlsen went 22-for-34 for 350 yards and 5 touchdowns. Wide receiver Tanner Hunt had 8 receptions for 139 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.

3A PLAYOFFS

LOGAN 49, DESERT HILLS 0: Quaterback Jeff Manning led the way for the Grizzlies going 9-for-17 for 137 yards and a TD. On the ground Manning was able to collect 92 yards and 4 touchdowns in the victory. The Logan defense forced four turnovers from a struggling Desert Hills.

JUAN DIEGO 24, WASATCH 0: Tana Vea and Tyler Morales combined for two touchdowns as they led the Soaring Eagle to a first round win in the 3A state tournament as well as their second shutout of the season over Wasatch. It was the fourth time this year the number one team in 3A kept their opponent scoreless.

PARK CITY 41, EMERY 7: The Miners dominated the ground game, rushing for 490 yards in a blowout victory over Emery. Dylan Chynoweth led Park City's rushing attack with 203 yards and two TDs, while Erik Walker added 167 yards and three scores.

CEDAR 27, OGDEN 16: The Redmen led the whole way, holding off a late Tigers comeback, to advance to the 3A quarterfinals despite a late rally attempt by Ogden.

2A PLAYOFFS

JUAB 34, BEAVER 0: The Wasps used big offensive production in the first quarter to jump on their opponents. The Juab defense had a good outing as well, leaving the Beavers scoreless.

NORTH SUMMIT 52, SOUTH SEVIER 29: The Braves jumped out to a 27-0 first quarter lead and held off South Sevier's second half comeback to advance to the 2A semifinals.

SAN JUAN 33, RICHFIELD 0: After a slow start, San Juan broke the game open with 20 points in the second quarter. The Broncos advanced to 2A semifinals with the win.

MANTI 34, MILLARD 10: Chase Stevens produced two touchdowns on the ground as the Templars advance to the semifinals.

1A PLAYOFFS

RICH 46, ENTERPRISE 20: Bradley Holmes led the Rebels with 12 rushes for 244 yards and four touchdowns. Holmes also accounted for 101 yards passing as the Rich squad moves on to the semifinals in the 1A state tournament.

NORTH SEVIER 41, MONTICELLO 14: The Wolves amassed 300 yards rushing as Tanner Larsen had two scores in the first quarter.
