A Millcreek man was stabbed in the forearm this morning during a domestic dispute with the woman he lives with, according to the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called to an apartment at 3349 S. 1300 East and found that the couple had been arguing about "relationship issues," said deputy Barry Mortensen.

Details were sketchy, but the couple appeared to be about 45-50 years old and "there is some discrepancy as to how the knife came into play," Mortensen said.

During the argument, the woman somehow got hold of the knife and cut the man's forearm. He was taken to St. Mark's Hospital in good condition. The woman, who appeared to have no injuries, was arrested for suspicion of aggravated assault and taken to the Salt Lake County Jail.

There were no other people in the apartment at the time of the incident.
