Meetings to focus on transportation issues, community planning

Mountainland Association of Governments will hold its annual transportation and community planning open houses this month. They are:

• Wednesday, Orem Friendship Senior Center, 93 N. 400 East, 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

• Thursday, Payson Senior Center, 439 W. Utah Ave., 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

• Oct. 22, American Fork Senior Center, 54 E. Main St., 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Visitors to the open houses will get the latest information on the Mountain View corridor, I-15 CORE, commuter rail, Vineyard connector, state Route 92 and other projects and studies. Representatives will be on hand to take suggestions and explain project details.
