Nets sign Hamilton from Flash and Eddie Gill

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New Jersey Nets have announced the signing of free agents Eddie Gill, Brian Hamilton, Julius Hodge and Awvee Storey.

Per team policy, terms of the agreements were not released Saturday.

It's Gill's second straight year on the Nets training camp roster. The five-year NBA veteran has averaged 3.1 points and 1.1 assists in 181 career games with New Jersey, Memphis, Portland and Indiana.

Hamilton went undrafted out of Louisiana-Lafayette in 2005, and spent last season with the Utah Flash of the D-League.

Hodge is a two-year pro who has appeared in 23 career games with Denver and Milwaukee, averaging 1.2 points and 0.7 rebounds in 4.2 minutes per game.

Storey is a three-year pro who spent the 2007-08 season with Milwaukee.
